Mark McCallister

 
 

Mark McCallister is Associate Director of the Office of Academic Technology at the University of Florida.  As an academic information technology professional, Mr. McCallister is responsible for addressing the University’s teaching, scholarship, and service missions by utilizing both emerging and mature technologies to improve the University’s effectiveness and reduce costs.


Mr. McCallister regularly teaches technology workshops to faculty and staff, and presents on various educational technology topics at national conferences.  As part of Mr. McCallister’s personal commitment to scholarship, he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Technology from the University’s School of Teaching and Learning.  Mr. McCallister’s commitment to service includes serving in various professional organization capacities, including recent service as the elected president of CCUMC: Leadership in Media & Academic Technology, a 750-member national professional service organization.


In his spare time, Mr. McCallister enjoys travel with his family and amateur endurance sports car racing with the Sports Car Club of America.  See the McCallister Motorsports site for more information.
